In the history of the Malagasy language and malgachization, it is clear that there are gaps and forgotten in the field of building and public works. This observation is reflected in daily life, in rural or urban areas. On the other hand, it is no longer necessary to prove that, in the fields of employment, education and research, the field of public works and construction is today one of the most flourishing sectors. As for books and documents written in Malagasy, they are still very few, and have no place or even use in the field of building and public works; rather, foreign works are always used. As a result, foreign languages and simplified, informal expressions are increasingly common. At the Malagasy Academy, according to the archives, no specific research or less workshops have been conducted in the Malagasy language. All these reasons prompted the team of researchers interested in the Malagasy language to present the results of the research which was used to draft the "national standard for the construction of buildings resistant to natural hazards in Madagascar".
