RÉGIS RAJEMISA-RAOLISON, THE AUTHOR OF TEXTBOOKS ON MALAGASY TRADITIONS AND WISDOM

RégisRajemisaRaolison is a distinguished Malagasy author of Malagasy grammar textbooks, as well as dictionaries and books on Malagasy traditions and wisdom. It is through these works that he shed light on the wisdom that characterised our ancestors and which the younger generation should preserve. Two of the manuals he produced for “classe de 6e” up to “classe de 3e”, which were included in the curricula of the first and second Republic, well show how good he was at presenting his subject. The objective of this research work is to study the way he presents his subject to Malagasy students. For this purpose, for each form, lessons have been analysed and summarised with a view to observing the features the author wanted to highlight. The approach he adopted to present the various aspects of Malagasy wisdom can be found in the following textbooks: - Fomba amam-pahendrena malagasy. Kilasy faha-6 sy faha-5 - Fomba amam-pahendrena malagasy. Kilasy faha-4 sy faha-3.
