200 The acceleration of urbanization in developing countries such as Madagascar provokes debate and deserves deep reflection now, especially in terms of urban development. In Madagascar, urban development is an actuality topic that remains insufficiently addressed. While urban population are growing rapidly, and various social and economic issues weaken the level of urban life. The city of Antsiranana, the capital of DIANA Region, is characterized by worrying poverty. For now, the value of interculturality seems a better solution in order to revitalize the synergy of thoughts and actions that has always inspired malagasy living together. This communication will attempt to demonstrate that the establishment of a new socio-cultural system, which is interculturality, constitutes a relevant and efficient approach in the current context of urban development and globalization. Thus, interculturality can be an important lever for urban development.
