197 The modern literary Malagasy does not admit the phonetic transcriptions of the sounds which do not exist in the dialect merina of which it was founded in 1826. However, each geographical area of the large Malagasy Island has its specificity. For example, the areas of the central High-Grounds do not have contacts with the sea. Thus, the vocabularies relating to this specific medium and the maritime activities are ignored there. Same manner, it is not in the areas of large plains that one will seek the exact terms corresponding to the high reliefs, nor in the vilkages established in the extent of steppes of Ihorombe, those applying to large the sylves. It is advisable to correct the errors and to fill the gaps. Because to be national, a language must be built starting from all the usual speeches of the country, without discrimination none. The operation must consist in polarizing the regional speeches by the allowed language today like official. The diversity of the geographical landscapes and the cultures implies the mobilization of all in this work of adjustment of the national language. It is also a manner of carrying out the reconciliation or the national unit.
